Led by Ven Wonhaeng, President of Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, a 60-member delegation of Korean Buddhist pilgrims was in Pakistan recently, where they were facilitated by Daewoo Pakistan Express Bus Service Ltd.
The delegation’s pilgrimage included historical Buddhist sites located in Lahore, Gilgit, Hunza, Islamabad, Taxila, Peshawar, Takht Bahi and Chota Lahore in Swabi. They offered prayers at Buddhists sacred sites for international peace and interfaith harmony.
